Data Deletion
Nepzio's Social Inbox lets a store connect its Facebook Page and linked Instagram account, so its staff can answer messages from Nepzio. This page explains how to delete the data we hold about the Facebook account that connected a Page.
What we hold about your Facebook account
- Your Facebook user ID, recorded when you connected a Page.
- An access token for each Page you connected (stored encrypted), and the Page's name and ID.
How to request deletion
Any one of these works:
- From Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), remove Nepzio, and choose to send a deletion request. Facebook will show you a confirmation code and a link back to this page, where you can check its progress.
- From Nepzio: in your store's admin, open Social Inbox settings and disconnect the Page. This deletes its access token straight away.
- By contacting us: phone or WhatsApp us using the details at the bottom of this page, and we will delete it for you.
What happens
Every Page you connected is disconnected: we stop receiving its messages, its access token is deleted, and your Facebook user ID is removed from our records. This usually completes within minutes.
Conversations between a store and its customers stay with that store, as part of its business records, until the store is deleted. If you messaged a store and want your conversation deleted, contact that store, or contact us and we will help. See our Privacy Policy for more.
